All you photoshoppers out there, I need some help. In my never ending battle between do I or don't I, I need some help picturing my interior with dark leather seats. I am definitely going two tone, but if that's too complicated, I jsut want to see how dark leather (black, graphite, etc.) would look with the remaining parts of the interior staying frost. Here are some pics to mess with to show how the seats would look. If you can submit some results, I would greatly appreciate it and be indebted to you because I want to make the right decision.

Thanks,

Matt

P.S. Thanks mdeal for the idea!

Here's what I think.
You have a light colored interior & black seats alone wont match. Replace the door trims and the floor matts and it'll match up good.

I agree with what RBA said. Looking at the photoshopped pictures with the black seats alone makes it look out of place, almost put together. Try getting a picture photoshopped with the door panels and floor mats dark as well. It will deifinitely look better.

Studio Max - thank a lot for the pics - they do give me a good picture of what I was thinking about.

I got some bad news today. It seems as though this was all for not. I cannot get in on the leatherseats.com deal. It wasn't made for idiots like me who want to waste money getting leather when they already have it and for not getting what they want up front. It seems like on the SE model of the max, the cutout that is used to make the seats is made from a cloth interior maxima and because the factory leather uses different cushions for the leather maxima (Eric thought it may have something to do with wanting to firm up the bolsters, but he wasn't 100% sure), the leather kit wouldn't fit on my car that already had leather. He said it would be too tight and not look right. I appreciate him telling me upfront before I got them and went through the hassle. Thanks to all those who gave me input and for Studio Max for photoshopping some pics. They look real good and gives me something to look forward to should I ever get an aftermarket option. I would have bought new floor mats as Rba brought up and the door inserts would have been part of the package.

Thanks to all, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Awesome pics man!. Beautiful work. I should get photoshop.

BlackY2KMax, why not have them dyed? I've seen plenty of good dye jobs out there. Go to a place that specializes in custom upholstery for classics. Good Luck

Thanks - I took a look - would need to get the door inserts somehow - probably call Dave Burnette if this goes through.

Thanks for looking out for me, though.

Well, if you got the e-bay deal, I would try and get the door inserts from your local Nissan Dealer... Even tho it seems like one of those things that wouldn't be in huge demand, there has to be some way for their parts dept. to order them..... After all, they can't be THAT expensive alone... (or could they??, the cheapo nissan windshield, does after all, cost about 1 G)
