cutting maxspeeds

im getting maxspeed springs soon and was wondering if anyone else has cut them and how the ride was... i just want to cut one coil for the fronts because if anything, i want the ride to at least be even height, if not barely lower in the front.... also, do i need a special cutting tool or can i just cut it with a giant knife or something...

i cut my maxspeeds a long time ago all i can say is dont cut them, your ride quality will suck and you will blow your struts, invest the money and just buy new springs or coilovers

Yeah, bad idea, no offense. The drop is very even with Maxspeeds. The ride is pretty firm -- pretty much blown my KYB GR2's already! You want much lower? Go with Progress or Teins.
