I have a '00 SE and would like to swap out both my headlamps and taillamps for the newer HID lamps like on the 2002-2003 model. Anyone have any experience with this? Is the wiring "plug 'n play" or is there more involved? How much can I expect to spend? Where can I go?

 

the tails are plug n play, but the headlights need to be wired up. check the org there is always someone selling something. what condition are your stock SE tails? I have a set of 02 tails I maybe willing to trade for them

brand new HIDs will cost around $1200. wherever you buy them from save the receipt so that when you post here you can prove you bought them and didn't steal them.

The stock SE tails are in very good condition. What condition are your '02 tails in? I could try to take a digital photo and email pics to you if you'd like. How would you propose transacting this in a way that protects both of us?
