How is the SE's suspension "tuned" differently than what the GXE has? Thicker anti-roll bar? Different springs shocks and/or struts? I asked a salesman at the nearest dealership and he didn't know. Looked in the archives here but couldn't find anything . . . .

Yep, stiffer springs and struts, thicker anti-roll bars. You can tell a definite difference if you drive them both. I got an SE loaner while they had my GXE for a day (fixing paint scratches there when I bought it) and there is a definite difference. The SE is a much better handler but doesn't give up too much in terms of general ride quality.
