Recently went to the dealer to have the right frotn strut replaced after 10k miles. I asked him should the struts be replaced as a pair or not and the service manager said "No". Now my left front strut makes a thud noise. Should he have replaced them as a pair or not?

Well at 10k..Not really.. Why did you replace yours struts in the 1st first place?
It's better to replace the struts in pairs so they'll be even but I doubt there's much of a difference at 10k unless you drive over rocks eveyday.

rba..

I kept hearing a thud noise from the right front of my car and the dealer diagnosed this as a shot strut. Thx for the input!
