Angel Eyes

I was wondering if there was another way to open up the headlights without using an oven. I went to my dealer for them to clear up some fog that was in my headlight. They opened it up and cleaned it and closed without using a heater I don't think. So what is this trick or tool that they use. I want the angel eyes I just don't feel comfortable putting my headlight in the oven.

they might have used a heat gun, but you really have to know what you are doing with a heat gun as it is very easy to mess up your lights.
i did use my oven and found it very easy. just pay attention to what you're doing and you'll be ok.

Its quite simple. I cleared my hids yesterday.
Preheat oven to 225 and put them in for 12 minutes..get a old flat screwdriver that you don't mind getting gunk-gluey stuff on and you are set...believe me...if I did it successfully..which I did...it has to be simple.

They probably took out the bulbs and just heated the housing.

Nice

Does anyone know how to get the headlights out after the Data Dot install? Everyone is making this sound very easy but when I attempted it, they didn't want to budge at all.

No replacement but a good idea to change the bulb.

Hey MaximaPolak,

How long did it take you to install your cleared out HID's once you started with the baking process? Also would you be interested in making me some of those LED mirrors you have? If so how much would you charge?
