Well, hard to say with a V6, but RWD cars really help in the autox. But the max with the suspension you got should be great. Just pump the tires up to about 40psi and you should rock.

Who's more experienced in auto-x'ing? I would think the more experience person would win. Good luck Jelly Boy!

Just slash his tires and pour sugar in his gas tank!

That's overkill. One of 2 should suffice.

Is this sugar in the gas tank thing really true? Wouldn't the sugar just clog up the fuel filter and prevent the delivery of gas? It then would not turn the engine into mush like it was intended to.....the same thing could be acheived by sand....

I watched a V6 mustang go through a autoX course here in Richmond last weekend. It is all about the driver. Even though the car totally sucked for the job, the driver was familiar with the course and did well. If neither of you were familiar with the course, you should be able to take him due to your mods.
Good Luck and make us proud.

Autocross is all driver's skill. Even if you have the fastest car out there, but you can't drive worth a dime, it won't help you. Go for it YJ! Kick his butt!
