Does anybody know if a six speed will bolt up to the vq30 motor

I would just like to know If anybody has tried to put a six speed(from a 2002-3)
into a vq30. I work for a nissan dealer but we dont do modifactions like that and everybody there thinks that it might bolt up. So if any of you know holla at me .

Check my cardomain, I have done it on a 00 Maxima, its not for the people with weak hearts... U will be using alot of the f words while doing this. FYI I don't see the benefit of having a 6spd on a 3.0L, I wanna see a dyno chart of the 3.0L with a 6spd vs my 5spd Max- I'm guessing 15WHP loss form a 6spd vs 5spd.

4th Gen is ALOT eassier to do a 6spd conversion on, alot of em have no ABS. ABS modulator gets in the way of the shifter mechanisim. U need to drill out the hole for the AT tranny shift selector cable, since the 6spd tranny uses cable actuation, and the cables will NOT fit through the tiny hole in the firewall.
