2K2 Engine Light tripped
All,
I just got my car back from the dealer last Friday, and Saturday I took apart the anniversary edition gas pedal to place the actually pedal on my car. After just replacing the pedal I get an engine light. I actually think it is my fault because I had the car in the "on" position when the gas pedal was unplugged (electronic throttle). It was hot outside and I was enjoying the nice breeze from the fan :-)
So I went to autozone to pull the codes and it was the Throttle Position Sensor low voltage, and they said wastegate failed to open or something. Don't have the exact codes with me but it was like 1227 and 0227.
I left the battery unplugged for almost 1.5 days and the light still came on this morning...So my question is, is there something wrong that I need to bring it back to the dealer again (hate leaving my car there) or is it possible that it will go off since the pedal is plugged back in. The car runs perfect no problems what so ever.
Thanks in advance!!
