Assuming that the Max is your primary car, what would you drive when kids, budget, space, traffic, etc. are not an issue?

State the exact make, model and trim please.

Obvious top two choices would be the new M3 or an Audi S4.

Well... if it were available in the US, a fully loaded and tricked out Skyline. Since it isn't, fully loaded manual S4.

I would like a M3 or a Mitsubishi 3000GT (with some mods)... Although, if the Lancer comes here, that might be tempting too

my 2 cents

I'd have to go along with what a few others have mentioned. An M3, M5, or even a 540i. I like the Audi S4 and S8 as well. Honestly though, a 911 Turbo takes the cake.

My play car!

It would have to be a 1997 SLP Camaro SS LT4. 330-HP for the price of a modded SC Maxima $35,000 0-60 4.9 sec. So sweet I would have had it now but insurance is a serious factor!

Can u say 750iL Bimmer V12 Silver w/red inreior 6sp manual trans. w 20x9 Lowenhart LD1's in the front and 20x13 in the rear w/ 275/30 & 335/30 Yokohama AVS Sports dropped 1.75 inches with Eibachs of course and a Breyton or Alpina Body kit. I just put $5 down to special order one. They told me it would be ready in about 7 years. By that time i can save up enough mony to make payments for a year and get gas for the year too. Did I paint a vivid enoug picture? Can you tell that i really want a Bimmer?

punkdork, sweet pic of a RUF Porsche!! It looks exactly like the one you can virtually drive on Gran Turismo 2 for the PSX. I can't wait until the next version of that game comes out for the PS2...!!!!!

RUF Porsche is my favorite car in that game... AWD turbo-charged and you can put some crazy camber (7 degrees or so) on it and just tear up the streets with no spins. Seattle is one of my favorite courses. I can't wait for GT3 or whatever it will be called.

haha... whattaya talking about??? the max IS my play car!

<ahem> Jk...

hmm... after recently riding in a 911 Carrera, i'd have to say that'll be it.. within certain reach still! $85K's not too bad for 37mph corners (no tire noise) and 300hp wouldn't you say?

I would have to go with a 911 twin turbo. But if it was just a beater i would mod the crap out of a honda. Then if I tore it up it wouldn't matter.
