I want to polish my valve cover..

But after I do this what do I torque the bolts down to and do I need to replace the gasket?

buy a service manual for the torque numbers and the correct pattern in tightening them down.

you will need a new gasket as well.

you probably won't be able to polish the entire thing in one day either, so be warned.... might want to buy another one from a junk yard or something and have it polished, then swap it out.

Hmm.. alright where can i get the service manual for the best price?

I figured that I wouldn't be able to get it done in one day. But I have another car to drive, so it's ok.
