"Legal" Clear Custom Taillights **PICS**

Here goes nothing. I was bored since I got laid off from my job on weds and
had these clear taillights sitting around and wanted to see what I could do differently to them. I still need to get red bulbs for the turn signals. Don't know if I like them yet.

1) sorry bout the job loss
2) remember how some user painted their yellow signals red. why dont you paint the whole bottom or top red, and then you'll have that euro look. would look much better than that strip...sorry...it looks like a$$.

i don't like them and it doesn't seem like there's much you can do to make them look better than stock imo.

it's all about you though...whatever floats your boat.

Sorry, I don't like it either. Dont' like all clear tails or aftermarket Altezzas either.

I bought a set of the chrome/clears and painted the whole circle red. I was the 1st to try it, but still didn't like it, so I sold 'em.

Like I said I was bored this week and wanted to try something different.
I really hated the amber part in the stock taillight and will probably be painting the whole "circle" part red. You have to give me some credit at least I'm trying to do some new stuff and not just have the same old thing. Especially on the gray lustre...you guys realize how many now have cleared hids, and the maxxtuning lip...they look great but I don't want my car looking exactly like someone elses.

funny you should say that...in the beginning, grey lustre was a rare color. now, everyone and their mother has it. and you're right, we all have the cleared out hid's and maxtuning lip.......but only one person was the first to have all 3...

Yeah well...I was the 2nd person to pay for my maxxtuning lip but pj forgot about me then added me to the list again and I was #14 and then of course I took one up the ... And I think I'm the only one of us that had to pay $400 til I got a lip.

Jason, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner about the DDEs. I'll be free next weekend we can do it then. I'll PM you. Otherwise the tails are different, they just need a little more work. I understand your want to stand out from the other Grey Lustre Maximas. My only comfert is I dont have to drive it everyday plus, locally how many do you really see?

Well, not locally of course with the maxxtuning lip but I usually see 2 or 3 regular gray lustres a week.

I was going to use some spray tint on mine and just tint them a light gray. I think if you did that they would look just fine.

Yeah that will probably look cool. I've done that to a few other cars I've had.

I wouldn't recommend painting the outside of your taillights. It will look like a$$ in no time flat...from what I've seen...

wow, look at the poop blasters on the botttom of that car!

good lord those are some big tips!

those tailpipes take away all the attention from those tails.

i think clears would have been cool like, 5 years ago. but they are a little played out. i'd say just paint the enitre round parts red or half red/half clear and you should be good!

It is the PowerTech 1012 and it sounds like a 350Z. No fart can sound.
Low growl...no droning and ALOT of people here on the org have them.
Unlike the stock muff I can actually here my engine when i'm burning some rice.

i actually looked for a long time for a dual tip exhaust that would sound good and look aftermarket. most of the dualtips i saw looked too stock.

i could never find one because you have to pay to search on this board. and whenever i come to this board half the time the server overloads or something and the page wont even come up.

wonder why this site is so troublesome, yet b15sentra and altimas.net run perfect and they dont ask you to pay-to-search.

anywhoo...heres my poop blaster. i ended up with one giant "mellow sounding" Fart can. Greddy is such good quality i ended up with one on the maxima and two on my altima!
