Tricked out 02 SE on ebay...

Saw this while surfing. This guy has done some very unique mods to his max. I can't say I like all of them but some are just pretty cool. Click here to see his tricked out 10k mile 02 SE.

I say all show no go.
All that money on go fast mods and then those 20s, that car is probably slower then stock.
And what’s the point of gauges if you are all motor.

The rear roof spolier does not look good on a 5 gen.

I think it's too much. The gauges, the roof mount tv and the z3 fenders are weird.

that guy is crazy if he thinks he's going to see money back on half those mods.

I seriously don't think it's 35g's in mods either but whatever.

This guy has a lot of goodies in his car that is pretty respectable.

Level 10 Trans, Stillen big brake kit, etc... Those are some BIG DOLLAR mods. So i will give this car TWO THUMBS UP!!

As for those who call it a ricer, well, I have no clue why, because if your just judging this car for looks, then you too are a ricer, because this car has some underpinnings that alot of use would love to have.

So its got 20's on, well do you even know if he had some race wheels at home for the track? With the bling thrown around, don't you think he could have had measly 500 bucks or so for slicks? He runs a Level 10 modded trans, so i doubt its for all street.

Love to see what you guys calling ricer cars have in your awesome non-ricer cars.

Damn....what's with all the haters?

I'm not digging the rear roof spolier, ventvisors, or rear valence with the front-end.

I like the Stillen bumper with those Z3 fenders, but something needs to go on the sides/rear to finish it IMO.

I've been wanting to see someones flip down monitor AND IT MATCHES THE INTERIOR.

I saw that Max on Woodhaven about a week ago. It confused the hell out of me, because the color of the body kit just didn't look right at all. It's alright, but a bit extreme looking.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Plus, I'd like to see some engine pics. For all I know, it could be a Y2k/2k1 Maxima.

Miles are pretty low though but:
- the front fenders with those non-functional gills HAVE TO go!!
- the window visors have to go
- 19" wheels s/b the max wheel size on a 5G Maxima (hit one NYC pothole in those dubs then you'll be replacing at least one wheel, tire, strut, coil, front spoiler and maybe a sideskirt)
- front bumper s/b dumped in favor of the AE front bumper
- overhead LCD s/b dumped in favor of in-headrest LCDs
- can that rear valance (over rear window) be ANY larger
- I'm not feeling that indash foldout LCD look; for the money invested he could have picked up a stock indash screen from the OEM Navi and just modified that for DVD, TV, PS2, etc,...

...not hatin, just not relatin either!! This is def a car for show and nothing else.

Maybe I'll stop by and check it out, seeing as I'm only 25 min away from S.I.

there si a point of gauges on the a-pillar if you are n/a. they are not only for people that are forced induction. i mean i wouldnt mind having a oil pressure gauge and battery voltage gauge and something else.

If you guys want leather headrest monitors,

Here ya go!

http://mp3playerstore.com/stuff_you_...ial/IN-727.htm

Honestly, the overhead display is not a bad idea, because HEADREST MONITORS = STEAL THIS $HIT NOW.. at least his crap is tucked way.

As for 19's and 20's. Next summer i am getting rid of my 18's in favour of 20's. Because i think 20's are a decent size for a car as big as ours, and they look hot in person!.

I love my window visors, they are very function (THANKS THOMAS COOK for the group deal). When i smoke and it rains, tis perfect to vent the interior. 100% functional. As for the fender... oh well, i don't like it, but i take the car for what it is, and he spent a lot of time and effort on his car, and that equates to TWO THUMBS UP!

As for the haters, thats your opinion, but then again, you better have the goodies to back up before you slam someone elses ride.

20's? no thanks. that is too big on a maxima. the biggest size i would go is 18 and only lightweight. maybe you guys should think about saying that his car is all show and no go when you are putting huge rims on you car also. isnt that the same? those rims are only for show. i rather haw a crappy looking ride that will be qucik then a show car with big rims and etc. thats my opinion.

Honestly, how hard is it to swap your rim to lightweight rims before you track the car?

Probably 5 -10mins? I plan on 20's for the streets and 16's for the track. Nothing wrong with that, unless yoru an ILLEGAL STREET RACER.

18's look gay on the maxima because it already comes with 17's. I hate my rim size, it looks so wrong on my car.

I rather have a nice looking car on the streets, and a monster on the track, and thats not that hard with the maxima, given its already a 14sec car in stock form.

That's EXACTLY why I don't want headrest monitors. When the overhead flip down is put up, it's pretty much invisible from outside the car. Headrest monitors are a big neon sign to break the window and steal them.

This guy dropped "5G's" on a level 10 tranny and didn't have FI? I don't think so....with an AFR and fuel pressure gauge, I'd be willing to bet he at least had nitrous.

i don't want 19"s cause they won't last a week with the crappy roads here. 20"s look okay for show. IMO 19 is the best size..

Yeah that car is great...All that is missing are the "GT-R" badges, "powered by Nismo" setbelt pads, and carbon fiber aluminum wing... Those vents belong ONLY on a BMW. Class and subtelty are the name of the game when it comes to the Max.

well this is me but i rather buy somelightweight rims and use them everyday and then with the other money i have instead of buying show rims, i would rather spend that money on go mods so the car would be faster at the track. think about it, how much is a good decent set of rims and tires in 20' size? i could get ssr comp rims and some bridgestone so3 tires and i be set.

Heh, I just saw that car again. Different car, but look a sh*t load alike. The car around my area has stock 17s, has "Cars Like It: 0" stickers on the back windows and it's also an 00/01. Oh well.
