The tint looks great! I will hopefully have mine done soon. What brand and type? I'm thinking of Llumar 35% charcoal.

I agree with Rich.....black out the window trim....like this......

Hey Tom,
What'd you use to smoke the side markers? you still have the clears underneath or did you switch back to red/amber?

I switched back to the red/amber and sprayed them with NightShades paint. I still have my clears, if I want to change back....

cool. got another question for you then.

I know when the lights are on they shine through red/amber, but do they reflect red/amber when a light is shining on them at night and they aren't on?

thx man!

There's a bit of a reflection. Much less than without the paint, but it's there. I think it would still be 'legal' if that's what you're concerned about.

But I'm not a lawyer, or the police....so don't quote me on the legality of the reflection. I've not had any problems, tho. I think as long as they can see the amber and red color when the lights are on, it's ok.

Ride looks great...what do you think about the progress springs? How do they ride with the 20's? and did you put aftermarket shocks in?

The eyelids i bought on a group buy on here around march. I dont have the guys number but you can probably find it if you do a search. The mirror tint was good in the daytime but in the shade like that picture the cops didnt like it so now I am ok with the 35%... Also what should i use to black out the window trim????

Trimbrite Blackout Tape. Part number T-9005.
I know it's at Auto Zone for sure.
This web site has it pretty cheap too... Trimbrite Blackout Tape

It took me about an hour to do it.

Has anyone tried to blackout the Nissan emblem using the black trim tape? I think that would add a nice finishing touch...

I think that would be kinda hard to do. You're probably better off painting it.

Hey Bluesbrekr, what color paint did you use for the grill & logo? I'm planning on taking my mesh grill out.

The grille is painted Super Black. The emblem is Testor's 'Boyds' Smoke Gray Pearl.
