Suspension Help!!!!

I've read all kinds of posts on coilovers and spring and strut combos. All of this has left me confused as to which would be best. I even read the link with all of the stats on the different springs, ride height and ride quality. I'm still trying to decide which to go with, the coilovers or the springs. I'm not worried about the price. I'd rather have good quality. I was set on the JIC FLT-A2's but the guy told me they are known to be "squeaky" So for the JIC owners let me know your thoughts. I really only want to lower the car about 1.5" and have the car sit level rather than the stock draggin a$$ set up, but I also want to maintain the ride quality. I need all the input I can get and what you guys think about your set ups and ride and to go with coilovers or spring/struts.

Thanks, Shawn

If price is not your concern, definitely go w/ coilovers. I personally think A2s are overkill for daily driver. Try considering D2 coilovers or JICs A1. I've heard many good things about A1s and most likely, I'll be picking up a set of D2 coilovers from GD section.

Hey AMMI, I saw those G2's on Ebay and emailed the guy about fitment and construction, but no reply yet. Do you know much about them and where I can find out about this GD. I'm worried about this squeaking that the JIC's are known for according to the guy at JIC. I'd hate to role sounding like an old beat up pinto.

These are the D2 coilovers I was talking about. I'll probably end up getting a set of these. Check this GD out.

I have the a1's they do not "squeak" they kind of make a slight compressed air kind of "koosh" sound at times over some bumps...it's they way they are supposed to work. i've had them on for at least a month now and i love them.

How much did you lower and how much harsher is the ride? Thanks for the advice it's much appreciated.
