AEM Bypass Valve Steal Power on PR CAI???
I have a PR CAI and installed an AEM Bypass Valve last summer just for peace of mind with the water issue even tho you'd have to be a complete and utter idiot to every have to worry about that ... anyways when cleaning the throttle body yesterday my friend was moving around the CAI and broke a plastic clip on my bypass valve so I need a new one bc I think it should definitely be air tight and right now there's a little gap between the two sides holding the middle together underneath the foam cover.
Anyways...I heard from several people that the AEM Bypass Valve robs power that should be gained from the CAI...is there any truth to this statement, and if so, how much power do you think...anything significant enough to not put in a new one for $35 and not have to worry about water or snow or anything ever?
