I have read that 2001 maxima is pre-wired for a cell phone. Anybody know anything about it?

 

where did you read about that? It's not true, they are not pre-wired for cell phones. Unless you're thinking of those bluetooth technology that's only found on the 6th gen maxima.

That's totally interesting..... Hummmm I like to know where, I have an 01 SE but never heard of the pre wire cell phone.........

I just had a 00 Maxima all apart, didn't see any cell phone pre-wireing. Working at a Audi dealer before I did alot of cell phone hook ups and know what to look for. I don't think our cars have that function. I never seen PHONE on the display of any Nissan radio. Infiniti might be diff.
