welcome to the org! Now, run away as fast as you can before you spend your life savings on every mod out there! It's addictive!

I dont understand why everyones first mod is an intake. It doesn't make you faster and loses low end throttle responce. If you like the noise cool but is noise really worth $150 or however much intakes cost now days?

Nice car and color choice

it definitely makes you faster at least a little bit...otherwise nobody would buy them...there are endless dyno graphs to prove they are effective

hmmmm odd, my 100+ track passes have proved that theory wrong. An intake makes you no faster at the track than a "FREE" GAB. People buy them because of hype and everyones awesome butt dynos. I wished I could buy an injen intake and gain 13whp like the site claims...I've had them all swapped them all at the track and my trap speeds where within .2-.4mph of each other from stock to injen to frankencar to GAB. Its all hype and a bunch of noise, but coming from a bunch of guys that clean there throttle bodies and act like it gained them 50hp Im not surprised most believe all the advertisements and hype. Go to the track run your intake a few times and then switch to stock and see for yourself

I disagree as well. to be honest, i felt more of a diffrence when i changed my oil then when i put on my intake. and i have the apexi filter which claims that it offers 3hp over K&N. intakes just look nice, and make a "cool" sound.

just my thoughts anyway.

Enjoy you new car. I have a 2003 SE Black on Black and before this I had a 2000Se what a difference. The 2003 kicks but and with minimal tuning you can get this car to do low 13 with little money.
Have fun and drive like hell. Maxima rules.

don't sweat it. The Berk intake is exactly the same as the Frankencar except it's aluminum....alot of people on here like to dog Frankencar due to customer service, but let me be the first to tell you Ihave the FC intake, I have had NO problems with their customer service, NO problems with the intake quality, and I don't regret getting it at all. You get exactly the same power/sound out of the FC that you do out of the Berk. People just rally around Berk because the Berk guys are good people. Nothing wrong with that, but doesn't mean FC is not a good product too. so don't start regretting getting the FC.....that's all I'm saying.

Basically, if you get anything from Frankencar or Stillen, people will be all over your case for some reason. Just ignore the haters. Stillen (for the most part) makes several great products (if not somewhat overpriced) and the Frankencar exhaust is one of the sweetest out there for the max....

That's the biggest thing. It usually takes over a month for them to get your order shipped out. I spend the money to actually keep everything in stock and on the shelf so that my customers get their products in a timely manner.

I would love to trade my car for a 2k2 manual, but I wonder if the dealer would let me have the car for a week so I can swith all my mods over to the new 6 speed.
