We now have LED tail lights
I was just checkin out stillens website and I came across these:
what do ya think?? The housings are available in other colors as well which is nice, I would like to get a look at them with a different housing. But at least stillen hasnt forgotten about us

someone call them and ask how much they want for these horrific pieces of plastic with missing blinker cover...
The company that makes them do make some decent stuff @ 180 per tailight for BMWs.. along a few hundred other models and makes.

I called them and they said that there is no price availabe yet. They dont have the lights in stock but will soon have them. I would like to see what they would look like with a different color housing.

This fad with the LED's on the tail lights has gotta stop! The design of the 5th gen tail lights just isn't meant to have LED's!
If a company out there would make a simple red/clear taillight lens with the stock housing , it would be a hit!

It looks like they forgot to put the lens on... I really like that LED tails are becoming popular, it's a much better technology than incandescent lighting, but they just need to make OEM-style housings so people won't be turned off by the ugly.

my guess is that they're going to just sell the inside half, as shown in the ugly a$$ pic, and whoever's silly enough to buy them will have to take their stock lens off and put them on this thing...
just my guess though...

I've seen red tint-like film used to cover RSX tail lights to make them completely red. I suppose one could buy these then cover the entire things with the red film (or leave a circular cutout for the reverse light if so desired) and then they wouldn't look so bad. Just be glad that they're making LED tails for you guys..
