Hey everyone. I'm relatively new to the forum but already found it very resourceful. Wanted to ask if anyone knows whether the ECU is different on manual and auto trannys for the 01 SE AE. I'm restoring an SE AE that's auto and was totally stripped inside. I know where I can get an ECU from a manual SE AE but not sure it'll work. I'm pretty sure the ignition is different too. Does anybody know?

 

ECUs are completly different, you will need a automatic ECU. The harness connectors are different. I am interested in the AE 5spd ECU thou ! Let me know via PM

Since I might be getting a wrecked 5spd AE tomorrow for parts, I'll have a ton of parts I wont need so if anyone is interested, let me know.
