I know that we all have gripes about our new car....some more than others....but I wanted to see what made you decide on the Maxima for your new car. Here are some of the reason I choose this vehicle:

1. Had a nissan to trade in
2. wanted black interior (hard to find these days)
3. wanted a stick
4. like the doors locks (not some POS stick rubbing on my elbow)
5. sound of the engine!
6. Bose radio
7. gauges.
8. cockpit layout
9. nice cruise control setup
10. not as many people have one (camry, acura integra, accord lovers.....hate em)
11. sunroof that opens without looking like a wing
12. window switches
13. blinkers are quiet
14. Awesome leather wrapped steering wheel!
15. easy shifting
16. auto thermostat control
17. having the fuel door on the drivers side
18. hood with hydrolics
19. beautiful Icelandic Pearl paint
20. Progressive wheels
21. great brakes
22. clean styling
23. huge trunk (for me)
24. outlet in back seat

Hmmm ..... I know there is a lot more.....

Tell us what things on the maxima made it better than a accord sedan and coupe,prelude, camry, integra gs-r, passat,bug, dodge stratus rt, eclipse, celica, neon, gallant IL4 and V6, alero IL4 and V6, saturn, altima, grand prix, and also a protege.....I drove everyone one of these cars while searching for a new car.....

After owning your car for a while....what other car would you pick over the MAX!?

 

1. The power. This car was amazing even in auto after driving an auto Sentra and a manual Altima and Xterra.
2. The room, I have more head room in my Max than in most SUVs.
3. The room again, the dash feels 400 miles away (especially compared to the Sentra). I like feeling that if I get in an accident I won't automatically become one with the dash.
4. The titanium guages.
5. The solid feel of the car (i.e. doors don't go *ping* when you shut them).
6. 4 cup holders.
7. 2 power outlets.
8. A trunk big enough for 2 or 3 dead bodies.
9. Back seat that will fit people taller than 4'6".
10. Leg room.
11. The pretty chrome around the auto shifter (though I would've preferred a manual).
12. The tight feeling of the steering and suspension (I drove an '83 Ford Ranger before this car).
13. Most of all... it's not American made!

Its my 3rd Max. The last one was an 89 that lasted to 228K miles showing before I totalled it, and even before the accident Im sure it would have gone 228K more without problems. Every new car has its quirks, but overall I am very impressed with the 2K Max

i like the awsome interior features such as bose system, titanium guages, titanium shifter, plenty of leg room in the back seat for o_O, and it was nissan =D
the 17 inch rims are pimp!
and since i'm 19 and driving a car that most grumpy old men can't afford =) j/j

 

2nd best interior ive ever seen. 1st would be toyota supra.

 

I bought my Maxima for the 3.0 5speed. --PERIOD-- We can realistically see 250 naturally aspirated HP's with a few bolt on parts. This is any Honda owners dream.
