New Gaskets??

What's up fellas? About 6 months ago I was one of the first buyers of the Hot Shot Headers. I love the design, finish, and performance of this product but hated the crappy gaskets they included. Now recently I've noticed an exhaust leak that has only gotten worst. Which leads me to my question on what type of gaskets should I go for and where to buy? Thanks for your help. Greg

Go to The NIssan Dealership and ask them for a head gasket, and see if it will match up to the hotshot headers, or u might just have to use hotshots gaskets because it came with them. I dont think you should have that kind of problem with new gaskets or if they still continue leaking aks or try using silicon.

I hope that you mean exhaust manifold gasket and not head gasket. You have to remove the head to replace head gaskets.

the nissan gaskets are better. i used them on my header install but there is most likely going to be a leak of some sort because of the thin flange. another local member has hotshot on his 02, used 1 nissan gasket then it leaked. he then installed another on top of it and it helped for a while but came back. ive got a slight leak using one nissan gasket in front of the cat.

I just went on the Hot Shot website and noticed that they now include a Copper Set with the Headers. I guess I better give them a call to inquire, I'm also going to consider the Nissan gaskets.
