Polishing my nuts *PICS*

...no...not those nuts.....these:

I really didn't like that stock greenish coating on the nuts, but I'll probably have to polish them often to keep 'em looking good....

Also some silver sleeves on a few vacuum lines:

probably just used metal polish. i used that and shined up the metal AC tubes.

soonerfan's correct about the metal polish, but I used a wire wheel with my Dremel first, then polish with the Dremel.

I used Mothers mag & aluminum polish on my '99's valve cover and my 2k2's a/c lines and they came out like a mirror. But thats after a lot of sanding and buffing.

Guys I just figured out that the sigs are linked to the homepage if given I just noticed that all of a sudden I have a sig pic. I thought that was funny when I read Irish's post!

BTW the nuts look great I think I need to invest in a dremmel.

***** - I'll try the clear coat

nathan - the bolts are from the engine cover

Kash - it's easy. Remove bolts, Dremel with a wire wheel to remove the stuff that's on them, then polish with the Dremel and a felt wheel with Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish.
