hey my dad has a fifth gen and i was driving with him today and we pulled up to a light everything seemed fine but it seemed to hesitate for a few seconds and when he went to accelerate- it stalled. He told me it does that evey once and a while and if not stalling it will atleast hesitate what do you think it could be- it has only been doing it as of lately -just to let u all know he drives a 2002 auto thanks in advance just let me know what to check for if this has ever happened to anyone-again only happens when about to acc or accelerates

 

yea that happens to me. its annoying and frustrating. clean the throttle body, clean air filter and give it a can of bg44k and hopefully you will see an improvement.

 

thanks yea i figured it was along those lines i am going to clean the throttle body today and give the filter a quick check thnks again anyone else?

 

if this proceeds and gets worse.. its most likely your tranny going bad
