Goodbye Cruel World

Well I've been thinking about it for a long time and today I finally did it. The Max is gone. Traded it in for a new truck. I got a helluva deal that I couldn't refuse.

Nah, I was going to get a Hemi, but it was too much, plus it wouldn't fit in my garage. Instead I got a Dakota with the 4.7L. I got 1% under dealer cost, plus all the incentives and rebates. It's a deal we get at work.

I work for National Grid, it's a utility company. The Grid gets deals through Daimler-Chrysler and Ford because of the amount of trucks they buy from them.

A colleague of mine got a good deal on an Explorer. He got it last month and already smacked it up in midtown (34 str.) in a hit-run just last week.
