how to get the ebrake cable off the rear caliper?
Hi everyone,
Sorry to ask such a dumb question
.
Could anyone tell me how to disconnect the ebrake cable off the rear caliper?
I tried to replace the rear brake pads and rotors today.
After removing the wheels, loosen the 14mm caliper bolts, removing the spring holding the ebrake lever and also the 14mm bolt connect the ebrake and caliper, I just couldn't disconnect the ebrake cable from the lever.
Is there any trick to do it?

brute force...you need to make sure there is some slack in the cable (you can get this slack by loosening the ebrake adjuster bolt that is below the front of the ebrake handle.....it's a PITA, no question about it.
