hey guys i have a 2000 maxima GLE, which i love alot lol. well theres a problem. im only 17 so i dont know much about my own car yet since i juss got it about 3 months ago. you know the side lenses? well one light bulb burnt out on it and im trying to replace the lightbulb but iono how to open up the side lense so can anyone gimme a walkthrough on how to open the rear side lenses? i already checked the How-To section but it was no help. thx

 

take a small screwdriver covered with a thin towel or cloth of some kind (so your paint doesn't get damaged) and place the tip into the crevice at the fron tof the lense (the part towards the front of the car). just push backwards on it and it should slide back a bit. then just pop it out (use the screwdriver like a crowbar).

 

It's even in the owner's manual. Open your glovebox, take it out, flip it open, and check it out.

Wow! Finally an answer to this mystery. I've seen a lot of 2000-01 Maxima w/ the rear side markers out. Things that make u go "hmmmm"
