Turning off SES - Should I do it myself.

Hi guys,

I recently replaced the plugs in my 00' SE and the SES light came on a week later. I had the codes run at Autozone and found "System Lean Bank 1" and "System Rich Bank 2" codes. I am planning on replacing the MAF and I was wondering If I should have Nissan turn off the light or should I save $50 and do it myself. Will pulling the battery for a few hours and resetting the ECU solve my problem.

thanks,

Gene
