I'm running 245/35/19 out front...and 275/30/19 in the rear. Don't worry about the size of the tires as much as the offset.

well the offset is 35, im just really worried that the tire will rub against my front bumper, right now it looks like i have a little bit more than an inch of space between the tire and the bumper.

I want some 245/35/19 tires. The 235/35/19 is too thin for me.

Hey, if 245-35-19 doesn't rub I dont see why the 40 series would rub the difference is very minimal.

Cheers

You should be just fine. I was running 245/35/19, now I'm running 235/35/19. No problems either way. 40 series should be ok, although it looks really funny...

You have nothing to worry about. I have 245/40/19's with around a 2" drop (ground control coilovers) and I have no rubbing at all. I have since raised the rear a bit because it was rubbing the rear fender over huge bumps. But I think thats because my sound system weighs a lot and I have the Koni yellows set on low.

Hey, I run 245/40/19's on mine - no rubbing ever during normal driving. The only time I ever really had an issue was when I went on a trip with a ton of luggage in the backseat and trunk, and hit huge dips on the highway, then it rubbed - normal everyday driving it's just fine, I say go for it.

Here's a good tire calculator.

I'm running 235/35's....I like the nice thin wall.
