I just bought a 2000 maxima and wanted to know if any other members have a sound when they turn on their a/c or heat. Its like a whinning sound comming from under the passenger side glove box. I looked around and it seems to be comming from a black box like fan with two hoses connected to it. I don't know how to fix it but its driving me crazy. Any suggestions or comments on how to approach this????? Thanks for your help.

 

that happened to mine. there's a tsb on it. but another way to fix it is to just bast your ac on high and then to low speed. keep changing the speed of the ac and it will go away.
