Can someone help a brother out?

ok, i was under my car today, and i noticed 2 braided wires. a white one and a green one. the green one is just hanging there. it looks like it should be connnected to something. anyone know what it is?

is it back near the middle of the car? If so, that's the ground wire for the catalytic converter....mine's been hanging like that for a year, the dealer said the clip for them tends to rust away real quick, but it won't hurt anyhow since the cat is already grounded through the rest of the exhaust....

yep. i think that's it. iirc, i saw a clip on the cat. with nothing clipped to it. that's gotta be what it is. thanks! now i know.
