Any update from SSR?

Not trying to rush anyone or anything but I was wondering what progress was being made on the design for a turbo kit for our cars (2k2-2k3)?

I know y'all have been working on this for a few weeks but I was browsing the SSR website and I saw a twin-turbo kit for the G35 and just got a "little" jealous because I would like the idea of boost also, be it a single or twin-turbo design (even though single is easier and can be much more beneficial at times).

Hope everything is going well!

Good luck

C

As far as I know it's been out for a while but I think they are still "field testing" it first with some of their test mules so that they can iron out any problems if any. I saw one at the dealership having work done on his, unfortunately I didn't have a chance to talk to the owner of the Max.

Great news if it's true! Can't wait for this to be completed but are there any dyno numbers or anything like that yet? I know SSR hasn't chimed in here in awhile. I understand the Altima made 348whp with 5.5psi but I wanted to know how much our Maxi's will make with it...

Hope all is going well and can't wait to be updated!

The intake manifolds will not be made and I'd be surprised if they ever had a turbo kit for us! Read the last few pages. http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=163119

he was on here trying to pimp it many-a-time. His plans were to fit the kit designed for the altima on to our car. No one stepped up, and he disappeared, gee, go figure?

For what it's worth, guerro is the ONLY altima guy to get the kit, and it seems maximas aren't the only car with drivers who have eyes bigger then their stomachs : /

Oh well, seeing as how boost is no longer (never was) an option, I'm guessing da juice will have to do huh?

Same HP with the flip of a switch sounds good to me.

if you got the money and time, SSR will probablly be more then accomdating.

He mentioned a special price as well for the test mule.
