I have a 95 max 5spd with the dreaded differential bearing issue. I am looking at purchasing a used 00 or 01 tranmission, are their any reliability differences between the two? in the thread http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=337877
it looks like a lot of problems from 00 year. please let me know what year would be best. if you have had a tranny problem please post it here.
