Obviously, it's the pic on the right

I specifically went for Eibachs because I didn't want it "too low" (camber issues, etc.), and previous experience told me they would give the best ride/handling balance. I'm very pleased with them - the car drives great, I would almost say it rides better than stock!

Nice miatas. My friend up the street has a 90 i think (1.6 liter?) and that is one fun car. He put a roll cage and did a full suspension with fly and clutch plus dual exhaust and headers and that thing is fun to drive! he had some issues with his suspension because he swapped the rear passanger for the front drver spring. Nice cars!

Yes, 1.6L (DOHC 16V) was 1990-93, 1.8L from 94-on. Lots of people feel (myself included) that the 1.6Ls run smoother and rev more freely. 1.8 does better with low-end torque. Totally indestructible cars, too

What kind of drop did you get with the Eibachs & what kind of struts did you use?

Well yeah, it WAS at night, after all

I'm planning to take better ones today

Still, for a "quick & dirty", it gives you the general idea.

They are listed as giving 1" rear drop and 1.3" front, but it seems to be a bit more than that. I guess they might settle a little more from here on out as well.
I have heard from several people that when the drop gets closer to 2" (or more), you need to change the struts. Because this car has such low mileage, and combined with such a mild lowering, I have left the factory struts for now. The ride and handling are both fantastic, so maybe what I have heard is true......I would like to upgrade the struts (and get anti-roll bars) in the future, though...just not a priority right now...
