REALLY IMPORTANT question!?

OK i have my greddy evo 2 cat-back and after about a month im staring not to like it i dont know what to do because i dont want to go through all the trouble of taking it off and then putting the stock one on then buying another and putting on the new one please if anyone knows if its possible or not to just change the rear section of my exhaust the par of the exhaust where my tip is can i just buy another tip and then install it like maybe a 3 inch exhaust tip instead of 5! plus i know that i lost some back pressure on this exhaust cus look how wide the opening is. so the question is can i bolt another tip on or should i go to like mieneke and ask them if they can custom make a 3 inch tips for that will fit with my greddy evo 2 piping???? ANYONE?

do yall think backpressure is good or bad?.. cause i have the option of wide open exhaust or stock with the push of a button.. the car feels faster 0-80 with stock muff. but fsater 80-100 with the open exhaust, maybe its just the torque but torque feels damn good!!!

Two things; first, even if you can change the exhaust tip on your evo muffler, it'll be beyond fugly. Your best bet is sell the Greddy and get something like Cattman, Frankencar, or even stock muffler with custom tips.
Second thing; Not to give you too much hard time, but if you want an intelligent, and legible answer to your question, put some effort into your post. I must admit, having read your question the first time, I immediately wanted to hunt down your English teacher.

the size of your tip doesnt have much affect on your backpressure...

i think your best bet is to sell the greddy, goto your local muffler shop, get a custom 3" or 2.5" piping with magnaflow muffler for about 200$

Your best bet would be to sell it and get a different set.

ok, it will be too much money and work to have the exhaust taken off. So I was thinking, does anyone know if it is possible to put a greddy sp muffler tip on the greddy evo 2 piping that is already there. I have seen one 2001 maxima with a greddy sp exhaust so im guessing its possible right? Well, if anyone knows please answer the post back or PM me.

You mean only the rear section or just the tip?

Well if you are unhappy with the 5" dia opening on the muffler tip and it's too much effort to take it off and sell it to one of the other people here that want to buy it from you .... you can go to any Loes or Home Depot & go to the plumbing supply area where you will be able to find reducers that are 5" dia on one end and and 4" or even 3" diameter on the other. You can get these in a variety of material like black iron, copper (nice looking if you keep it polished) or plastic in either white or black. Now consider what a unique look you would have on your vehicle.

Although RED already sorta comented on that LOL.

I mean the rear section, so I can just bolt it on to the piping that's is already there, because I know that the SP also has a 2.5 inch opening like the evo 2. Then it opens into a 4 inch which looks a lot better ands I think will tone down my sound due to a smaller canister. Plus its stainless steel as well if any one knows let me know.

Is it the whole exhaust that is bothering you or just the muffler? Maybe you can just find a stock muffler and get a shop to weld it on to the rest of the exhaust.

i dont think the length of the muffler bolt on would match on the SP as it does the evo? seems longer to me. plus the evo and sp bolts might be different but i doubt it. buying the sp muffler in as a universal to put on the evo pipe would be expensive enough plus welding it onto the evo cuz i doubt it would be a perfect fit so bolt on isnt likely a choice
