i have a 2001 maxima, automatic, gxe, anyone know where i can find the diagrams for the wiring of the safcII i already have the ecm pinout, i have tried looking on apexi's website but they only give the information for the 4th gen maxima. anyone have any ideas or know where i should go or who to ask. im confident that i can wire it myself but not without the help of a wiring diagram.

ok answered my own question just to let those know that may not there is a typo in the wiring manual that apexi gives out, for some reason they seem to think that the A33 is a VQ20DE when it is actually a VQ30DE, the wiring diagram that you are supposed to use is the one for the A33 model which of course is the 2000-2002 3.0L maxima. i checked assist at work just to be sure that the diagram that they give you are the same as what assist gives and they are. use the

I don't know about the 2001 but this is a pic of the 4th Gen and the 2k2.

apparently the pinout is different between the 2001 and the 2002 because the pinout of the ecm harness off of nissans cd-rom service manual from the nissan dealership (assist) is showing me that the following numbers go to the sensors in the list below using the same connector as the 2002 picture you posted.

pinout numbers for installing safc-II on a 2001 maxima
25............tachometer (rpm input)
48............ECM ground supply
61............Mass Air Flow
91............Throttle Position Sensor
93............Knock Sensor
110..........Ignition Switched Power

i would post a picture but im pretty new to this and i dont know how i have a list of all the numbers of the harness of the 2001 and what each pin goes to, straigt off of nissan's assist.

oh by the way i will check on assist tomorrow when i go to work for the 2002 maxima owners

I have used the setup for the 2002 and the 4th Gen so they are correct.

sorry man i didnt mean for it to sound like i didnt trust you, i was just in some need of some serious help and then i managed to find the answer to my own question. i figured if anyone wanted to see nissans copy of the info that i could email it to them or something was all i was saying.
