ground controls on stock GLE struts

i wanted to get GCs in the spring, once i get my rims, and drop them to totally loose all wheel gap, but in favor of saving some cash, thought about using the stock struts. i woulda assume they would be dropped 2.0 in the front, and 1.8 in the rear...how long do you think the stock struts will handle that? and will i need to mess with the bumpstops?
