IIRC, it supposedly tricks your engine into thinking it is getting cold air. That is the info i got when I got flamed the first time for posting this mod

All it dose is trick the air temp sensor to think its cold out side making the engine consume more gas. air to fuel raitio. Its worthless. I tried it and I felt nothing. No SES light either.

i had that when i first got my car..

what it does it just keeps your rpm and high ranges...

just eats up gas..

Its a stupid resistor you can get from radio shack for .15 If you want to do this on your own. Take out the air temp sensor put it in the freezer. measure the resistance accross the terminals and go and buy a resistor of the same value, plug it in the connector. and you have your chip mod.
