Service Engine Light

Lately, I noticed that the service engine light is faintly on. Especially when I drive at night, the light is more visible. During the day, it's pretty much not noticable.

My car is a 2002 se automatic. I'm not sure why it's on, and we do some of the maintainance like coolant, airfilter, changing brake pads, and regular oil changing.

What should I be concerned in regards to this light?

I had the same problem on my 2K2. I took it to the dealer and the dealer was aware of the problem. The problem is with the circuit board on the gauge cluster. Take it to the dealer and they will order and replace the whole cluster. Mine works perfectly now. Goodluck!
