C,mon Kev at least do a 18x8.5 if the wheel has a lip. But I am partial to 19" myself. 235/35 tire if 18 go with a 235/40 these tires are essentially the same ratio as the stock tires.

That half inch usually makes a difference in weight when the wheels are so big, but in the case of the TE37's, I'm not sure how much more they'll weigh.

I'd take 17X8 if I had a choice.

19's.. I still think my 19's look a little small for my car. Depending if your getting a wheel with a 3piece look or 1 piece look. I have the 3 piece look and my 19's look like 18's because of the lip. Go with 19's and 235/35/19 tires... You'll love it..

Thanks, rocketshipon19"... My ride is holding up great.. Do you have any pics of your car? I just think that our body style is big and you need at least 19's to make it look right. The ride's not bad at all. I'm planning on getting the stillen aero kit and then my exterior will be complete.. Maybe? Show me a pic of your car please!!!!

Can't link pictures from your hard drive young grasshoppa. Upload the picture to www.photopoint.com and link from there.

Luv your wheels man! They are sport classy, yet chic. Whoa almost sounds like wine tasting. Nice car too!

They will fit but they are too small for a Maxima, you'll need to go with a 235/45 17" b/c the 225/50 that comes standard is a hard one to find and the 235/45 is the same ratio. A good tire to go with is Nitto or Continental(maily because that is what I use).

Personally I think anything much over 18" starts to look kinda weird... 20"s of rim and 4mm of tire...

I thought the same thing.. Untill I got 19's.. I have 235/35/19 nitto's on mine and thought they would look like rubber bands.. But they don't, not too much different from the 40's on the 18's.. The car is just big.. IMO 17's look too small on the car and 18's are just about there, but 19's are the right fit... If you look at a max that has 18's compared to 19's you'll see the 1" difference..

Thanks punkdork... Now if I owned a black max, like yours, 18's would look awesome. I always kick myself for not getting a black maxima... I love the look of a black maxima... Could a say that one more time.. You could have 14" wheels on a black maxima and it would still look sweet.. How are your springs working out?

Don't beat yourself up there tom... you're car is the BOMB!! I love the 19's!! Say where did you get them, or did you go somewhere online to look at 19's? Just curious myself. I've been contemplating some larger rims for my Max as well.

Thanks Dustyroads.. I looked on the net to find the style I wanted and called into ADR wheels. ADR pointed me to a local Discount tire and they got the wheels and tires for me.. $2k later they were mine.. Probably the cheapest 19's I came by. If you need any more info, let me know, I researched the hell out of wheels before I bought them for the max...
