Has anyone used these

I've been debating converting to projector headlights. Has anyone bought the
Custom Enterprise 2000-2001 Projector headlights? If so, what are the good/bad points? Worth buying? LMK. Thanks. Oh yeah, this is my first post!

They suck. And don't by them from Custom Ent. They rip you off. Buy them fom eBay. But don't buy them at all.

Arnold,

Was it only the poor beam pattern that made them suck, or do you think the quality of the whole housing was unsatisfactory? They look better than stock when off during the day, thats for sure, IMO.

They felt sturdy, but the output was p*ss yellow and had a slightly greenish hue around the edges. And as far them being plug and play; they aren't. Stock parking bulb/turn signal and their socket DOES NOT fit. GoldMax and I had to go through hell and back in order to get the lights working properly.

Put it this way...the halos were MUCH easier to get working than the headlights themselves. Oh, and the halo quality sucks. They're dim as hell!

Thanks Arnold, I had a feeling the wiring was going to be an issue. It would have been worth it if the light output was adequate. What type of bulb did you use, PIAA? Would a higher output bulb help in your opinion (although it sounds like this is a rhetorical question at best).
So, I'm sure this has been asked a few thousand times before , but do OEM xenon Maxima lights of 2002-2003 fit my 2000 SE? Aside from the wiring being a PITA, do they fit without modification? Anybody know? Thanks.

From what I have read, the 2002/03 does not fit the 00/01 max.

I too, would like to do the halo conversion for my Max, but I am still searching as to how it could be done.

It looks like the top of the page Maxima.org has a 2000-2001 Max with 03/04
OEM Maxima Xenon lights. As well, BLKMAX005SPD has them on his 2000 as well. It looks to me like it can be done. So, who has the info on how they fit, and the wiring needed?
Arnold, what bulb were you using in those ebay projectors? LMK Thanks.

brutal...

1. those projector headlights are ugly as sin, and there seem to be alot of quality issues with them...
2. yes, you can fit 2k2-3 HID lights into 2k-2k1 maxima, but you have to put a new wiring harness in to handle them, and they are well over $1K for a set....

so, I'm being nice and answering, though I agree with jason that "just go back a few pages. this is talked about everyday "...there are tons of threads with more detailed information out there...just browse a little while and you should find them no problemo..

Actually, OEM HIDs have significantly fallen in price. You can buy a set for $600 now -- brand new, out of the box.

Sorry soonerfan about my previous post, it had been a bad day for me. My parents were both seriously injured in a car accident, and are in the hospital.
