how do i do that? are there any sites that have directions on where to pull and where to pry?

 

top vents just pop out if you pull on the vents themselfs. Lower shifter cover has one bolt through the ashtray and pops out. You can then get access to the radio or HVAC bolts that hold them to the dash.

 

there's a screw inside the ashtray behind the tray/ashtray inside a hole. phillips, unscrew that and pull the bezel up around the shifter(manuals are much easier) with something softer than a flathead... and then straight out
