Alarm randomly goes off...

My panic alarm randomly has been going off today for about 30 seconds at a time. It does it out of no where at random times. Anyone know what the problem is?

i think the maximas have a sensor and that sensor is giving off false readings, like a car passing by or something like that.

How is your battery? With my 200SX, I left my lights on once and the battery went dead. The second the battery saw voltage again, the alarm started going off! I had to pull those fuses and charge the battery and then put them back in and disarm the alarm. Not quite similar but maybe an idea? ... bad battery giving intermittant power?

Could be? I have disconnected the battery to do the Berk Intake and the alarm didn't go off when I reconnected it. This was months ago though.

Make sure your dome light, vanity light, etc. aren't left on. Make sure all doors, hood, and trunk are closed.

Disarmed phase, turn ignition switch from ON to OFF and remove key from ignition. "SECURITY" led will blink every 2.6seconds.

Pre-armed phase, lock doors using remote. "SECURITY" led will stay on for 30seconds.

Armed phase, "SECURITY" led will blink every 2.6seconds.

Does this all happen? If not, which fails?

Listen to Ice,
Also make sure all the door switches and the hood pin are working right.
