you will get more sound with the gab. it doesn't roar like an aftermarket intake, but it's noticeable from 3/4 to full throttle.

Max Vader, I noticed in your sig that you removed the throttle plate restrictor. What is that all about and is there such a thing on 03's. Thanks.

mine makes a nice growl over 3K rpms. not as much as the stillen i used to have but its still there.

i also have the throttle plate restrictor removed. its right behind the throttle body and pretty easy to remove. there was a long thread about this a few weeks/months ago.

With mine there is no throttle cable, it's the drive by wire, does it still have the restrictor. I looked and didn't see anything that looked like it. Thanks.

im pretty sure that 02/03 have the plate. it has nothing to do with throttle by wire. its inside the intake manifold where the throttle body meets it

All you have to do is remove the 4 bolts that hold in the Throttle Body and you should have something that resembels a water slide behind it. Take that out if you have it.

SO Max Vader,
By doing so, it wont cause any problems? Only asking cause i knwo my Throttle Body needs to get cleaned out (as i read in another thread here on the org) since my car keeps turning off every so ofter esp when i am coming to a quick stop like gasing and then getting nabbed by the red light and having to slam on the brakes.
