Need advanced help for interior lights mod - not working!
I am going for the interior light swap-out to blue on my Max. I started with the driver-side door today. I removed all the old leds, took the old solder off, and was left with four small metals plates on each of the leds. I then soldered the + end of the led to the two + plates I just mentioned, then the negative. I put it all together, plugged it in, and it did not light! =(
Anyone have any thoughts as to why this may have happened?
Are the lights in series and maybe I have one soldered wrong? The other lights are lighting fine.

Yeah, when soldering you must cross the old led contacts in order for them to work. Make sure the negative side is soldered on the "[" marked on the circuit board. Don't let any of the solder touch the other contact points of the old surface led or the LED will not light up. The old one will continuously light up. Once the new LED is wired/soldered right, it will cancel the old LED, and the old LED will go out.
