For an 02-03, a Cattman Y-pipe and Budget B-pipe (or some other catback with resonator) and stock muffler?? Can anyone tell me how loud this is, and more importantly, is there a bad drone with it cruising under 3K RPMS? I know its been said that Y-pipes don't do much for the 02-03's as headers do, but are they as likely to cause 02 sensor problems, throw SES's lights or any other mishaps I should know about??

I've been so indecisive the last week on modding and de-modding!

I have the cattman y w/ budget b and stock muff. Well the stock exhaust is silent and this setup has a little growl to it apon start up, but is dead silent when driving around. Don't worry about drove with the stock muff. I've had no SES. I'm pleased with the sound and power....

 

You can have any exhaust setup you want, so long as you keep the OEM muffler you wont get any drone. The OEM muffler can flow well over 300hp worth of exhaust so I wouldnt worry about any restrictions either. Ive had to "de-mod" my exhaust be4, so ive made this mistake be4. Make sure you have a resonator as well (doesnt have to be OEM) ive also tried w/ & w/o and there is a strange grindy metallic noise w/o one.
