Today I replaced the stock orange rear blinker with red. It was pretty easy. I saw in past treads that people were saying that the bulbs were slanted. So this discuraged me from trying. One of the notches is slanted in more. All I did was take a file and removed one of the notches. Took all but two minutes. Cant wait to see it at night.

Now rewire it so it stays on all the time (when you turn on your headlights) and make it blink with you signal.

That would look sweet. but. I dont have the slightest idea how to rewire stuff. I'd like to do the same with the front. Anyone know how to do this?

I got some red turn sig. bulbs at a local car shop, darn thing flashes PINK when turn sig is on, not red like the brake lights! I put the yellows back in like super quick.
If your flashes RED, what's the brand and model number?
Appreciate any comments. thanks.

Mine arent pink at all. When blinking they almost match perfactly. I got them at RPM. They are polargs I think. They were in Japanese or Chinese. They said Hybrid on the front but had a picture of of a benz on it. The benz said Polarg on it. Size M-22. Get those if you can you wont be disapointed. I find myself putting on my blinker more than ever.

Here's a link to 1157 LED bulbs at Autodynamic. Only $30 a piece! Get yours while they last! If anyone has these, a review of their performance would be appreciated.

I'd suggest that you check that the brake lights are actually 1157s before ordering - I've never actually seen the brake light bulbs, so I can't guarantee these are the ones that fit.

Blue Back-ups?

I put blue headlights and fog lights (should have used yellow) in the front, and was wondering if I could get blue reverse lights.

More good news...

I just got a pair of red 1156s (turn signal bulbs - single filament) from Autodynamic for a buck a piece. I ordered front clear side markers, too, so shipping was a write-off. Good news is this - they're not pink. They're made by Optiblue and they look almost black when they're not on, and a deep red when they are. If you get 'em and you don't like them, you're only out 2 bucks (not counting shipping, of course, so add a pair to your order when you get something else)! Here's the link:
