it seems like my cars rpm's are high wen i drive. when i go 80mph just regular cruising on route 80 the rpms are steadely at 2500-2800....is this normal...it seemed as if it used to be lower...also i get a slight hesitation and a jerk when i first start the car and drive right away but after about 10 sec its fine and it doesnt do it for the rest of the day no matter if i turn it on or off...only in the morning...any ideas guy thanks.....especiall for the rpm's...thanks a lot

r you letting it warm up good, cause if you don't the rpms are quite high when you put it on drive. I'll give you a jerk.

going 80 should be around 2200 2800 that should be normal

I think 25-2800 is just about right for you at 80mph.

my car does that morning thing too. I feel it mostly in 3rd gear, it kinda shakes alil bit. I usually keep the engine at or above 2000rpm before shifting until the engine warms up.. then its ok. I dont know why It does that, its a bebti.

your rpm seem pretty normal to me but u need to keep ur care running in the morning for a good 5 min and on a cold morning i do mine about 10 min u have to have the oil warm up a lil before u start mashing on a good morning and use fully synthetic oil
