I know a bunch of people have inquired about these and have even built some. I called about the price and he had thought about $240 but didn't seem 100% on that. Said they were too new, but could get a more accurate price if I was ready to order some. I'm not to sure if I like them or not. Maybe if they were black instead of silver? here's the link:

No I agree, Thats why I said maybe the would look better in black. He also said they were going to make a black one. I think the value on my car would go down by a few hundred if I installed those.

 

And you would lose about 5-10hp.

 

I dare you to put those taillights on your car and your 2k2-2k3 HIDS and park it in the streets of NYC- preferably brooklyn. See how quick crackheads strip your car.

nasty plus people will steal them. ...I think it would be hott if it was the same as the 02-03's, cover the clear outside lense the same color as the car so all u see is the chrome ring and the red and yellow circle. but instead of yellow.. have it white. I'm really thinking about making them myself at this point. whatcha think??

 

I think it would be really hard to steal tail lights off our cars....

it says they make them in all kinds of colors, even paintable.

 

paintable black MIGHT be nice, if the real version of those were all red for the lens.

 

Yeah those just look awkward, is it light output they're going for with the LEDs? Or just the different light pattern coming out of the multiple LEDs?

 

What I dislike is the exposed reverse lamp bulb. Looks half-assed. Clear LEDs exist..why not have led reverse lamps as well? The product details also look cheap. I am for aftermarket LED tails for our max, but can anyone out there get it right?

 

i'd like it better if it was a bigger matrix, and when u breaked it like blinked crazy patterns like lil rings growing out of the center, or spelled STOP.

i posted this last time in the other thread, but i'll say it again...

this pic looks like it's the INSIDE of the light - like if you stuck your stock housing in the oven and peeled off the outside lens.

the pic is just showing what the inside of the light looks like, it's not a pic of what it'll look like on your car... That's why they say "Housings are available in ...."
