What's the dealer price on Stock 00 SE 17inch RIM?

I tried to call a dealer today and get a price, all I wanted was the price and they wanted my VIN #, phone, and name of first born, so I hung up. All I wanted was the price. All other part departments are closed for the day, so I was wondering if anyone had a ball park idea of what a stock wheel costs for a 00 SE with the 17's.

Thanks

John

4 makes a set. The outside of the wheels are clean but the inside is dirty. I polished the inside of one and had plans to do the rest but just got too busy with other stuff. Look at any 2k2 or 2k3 with SE wheels; that is what they look like. There is a spot of gray paint on the wheels. This is from the factory and I do not know what it is for. There is absolutely no curb rash. I will admit, nothing is perfect, so I will examine the wheels tonight and look for ANY kind of scratches on them.

I was going to ask $600 for the set shipped to the mid east and east coast; the midwest and west coast will be more.

John remember the 00 SE rims have a slightly different style than the 02/03's SE rims.

I have some 2000 SE 17's with Falken Azenis 235/45's sitting in my garage, in excellent condition. The tires have 3-4k miles on them, and they are in excellent shape. Ask ogreDave, he saw them yesterday. Make me an offer.

I am not looking to buy one, I have one hanging around that is brand new and I was wondering what they went for new. It is a stock 2000. Is $500 really the price?

Yeah I can confirm that our stock wheels from the dealer is over $500 because some guys at work were trying to get some for their 4th gens. I won't ever sell my stockers.

Nissan is overpriced. $500 is insane. People generally buy them on eBay or elsewhere for like $400-500 for the whole set. If you're gonna sell just one, you shouldn't charge more than $150 for it.

I bought a set of four 6-spoke 00 SE wheels (w/ center plastic cap, although it didn't come with a new cap, I had to reuse my old one) off eBay from a company called OE Wheel Distributors for $440 total with shipping. The Buy It Now price was $320, shipping was ~$30 per wheel.

This was by far the cheapest I've ever seen them. They look exactly like the stock wheels, except there's 1 extra marking next to the manufacturer's mark. Not a problem. I bought a set of them for when I bend wheels (seeing as how it happens whether I like it or not, since I drive through the city frequently). I have 2 old stockers that I need to take to a wheel shop already to have them repaired... I should get that done soon

fyi-

Here's an eBay auction for one used wheel-- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43957

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43957 -- Two reconditioned 6-spoke wheels, a bit pricey though (compared to the deal I had ) at $300 + shipping for the 2 of them...

The wheels I bought were purchased through eBay user "moore9911", here's his eBay store: http://stores.ebay.com/id=12101158?ssPageName=ME:F:ST

I have seen the ae wheels for $800, for a set, at the dealer. The tires weren't probably included though.

A lot of eGay stores sell OE knockoffs. My cousin bought a set for $600 - $700 (can't remember). From a distance they look exactly like 5th gen SE wheels. Up close, the finish work is absolute crap.

I would stay away from refinished wheels as well. I saw a set of refinished G35Coupe wheels. They looked like they had been sanded with rocks and repainted with silver paint from Walmart.

I searched a long time for 18" wheels that fit my budget, yet had a classic design. After more than a year, I was so sick of looking at wheels that I had almost given up hope and decided to keep the 17's and put spacers on them. I ran across a set of G35 Coupe wheels on eBay from a local guy. Picked up the wheels cheap. Internal design on the wheels are much "beefier" than most of the aftermarket out there and the finish is top notch. BTW, I also had a set of MM Evo5's for comparison. They did not last long on the car (3 weeks).
